BACKGROUND: October is Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month. The resolution encourages businesses and other organizations to provide publicly-accessible AEDs and to identify AED Responders to assist in bringing an AED to a victim of sudden cardiac arrest to improve survival.
