HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09222015 - C.48RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with ACF Technologies, Inc. for the development and implementation of an appointment scheduling system in an amount not to exceed $1,539,071 for the period October 1, 2015 though September 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: $1,539,071: Administrative Overhead, 10% County, 45% State, 45% federal. BACKGROUND: The implementation of Health Care Reform created a significant increase in the number of customers served by the Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) and a corresponding increase to traffic in service locations. A review of department opportunities for customer service and workload improvement identified appointment scheduling as a needed technology. EHSD is seeking to improve its current processes of appointment scheduling in a manner that is consistent with the department's workflow and eligibility determination processes and to enable the department to provide a higher degree of customer service while operating more efficiently.
