HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09152015 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Public Works Director, a blanket purchase order with JC Paper/San Francisco Envelope in the amount of $150,000.00 for blank envelopes, for the period of November 1, 2015 through October 31, 2017, Countywide. FISCAL IMPACT: The purchase of stock inventory envelopes is recovered through charges to user departments for printed envelopes. (100% Department User Fees) BACKGROUND: Blank stock inventory envelopes are purchased in volume. Print and Mail Services fulfills print order requests by County Departments. Three price quotes are reviewed for each stock order because the paper prices change frequently. Purchasing envelopes in bulk saves the County money. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, costs for envelopes may increase.
