HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08182015 - C.79RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase Order with CDW Corporation, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 for purchase of scanners, printers, mobile devices, laptops, and minor computer hardware for the period from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Funding is included in the Hospital Enterprise Fund I Budget. BACKGROUND: Routine replacement and new equipment will be used in multiple divisions, including the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers, Contra Costa Health Plan, Public Health, Mental Health, and Health Services Administration. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Failure to replace scanners, printers, mobile devices, and minor computer hardware will increase the risk of an unexpected failure. This could impact productivity at some locations including patient care at the hospital, health clinic locations and key departments. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
