HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07212015 - C.88RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Extension Agreement #26-126-8 with Contra Costa Community College District, an educational institution, effective June 1, 2015, to amend Contract #26-126-7 to extend the term from August 31, 2015 through August 31, 2018. FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: On January 15, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-126-7 with Contra Costa Community College District, which includes: Contra Costa College, Diablo Valley College, San Ramon campus, Los Medanos College and Brentwood Center, for the provision of supervised fieldwork instruction experience with Health Services, for the period from September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2015. Approval of Contract Extension Agreement #26-126-8 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through August 31, 2018. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this amendment is not approved, Contractor will not continue to receive supervised field work instruction experience at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
