ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No.21705 to add one (1) Registered Nurse-Experienced Level (VWXD)
position ($7,305-$8,142)in the Contra Costa Health Plan division of the Health Services Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Upon approval, this action will cost approximately $156,770 annually with benefits, including $34,687 in pension
costs. Costs will be funded by CCHP Enterprise Fund II. (100%)
BACKGROUND:
Due to the exponential growth in Contra Costa Health Plan membership, Providers in the CCHP network have
increased 20%, in turn increasing the number of site reviews performed. This Registered Nurse position would be
responsible for performing: Facility Site Reviews (FSR), Physical Accessibility Review Surveys (PARS) and
Medical Record Review (MRR) using the Medi-Cal Managed Care Tools at each Primary Care, OB/GYN, High
Bolume Specialty and non-accredited facility for CCHP's Provider Relations unit. This individual would also
function as a community provider liaison for the health plan community network, partipate in the CCHP Appeals
Committee and quarterly Community Provider meetings, perform required new Provider orientation and on-going
training of new and existing Providers.
