HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07212015 - C.26RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Ordinance No. 2015-15, amending procedures for reverting to acreage previously subdivided land. FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this ordinance is to clean up inconsistencies in the Ordinance Code resulting from the Board’s recent enactment of a new ordinance that amended local procedures for reversion to acreage proceedings. On April 14, 2015, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 2015-06. The ordinance designated the Board of Supervisors as the hearing body for all reversion to acreage proceedings and removed the Planning Commission’s authority to approve and disapprove reversion maps by repealing Ordinance Code Chapter 924-2. Ordinance Code Chapter 924-4 of the Ordinance Code, which includes procedures that are inconsistent with Ordinance No. 2015-06, inadvertently was not repealed. The attached ordinance repeals Ordinance Code Chapter 924-4. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Inconsistent reversion to acreage procedures would remain.
