Those actions are: 1)• Establish seven (7) new first line management supervisory classes to replace Mental Health Clinical Program Supervisor and allocate them all to salary level #C5-1817 ($2794 - 3397) which is the same level as MHCPS. Duties and proposed MQ's are as per the attached draft specs. They would be distributed by program and region. as indi- eiated previously. 2) Reallocate four (4) Mental Health Clinical Program Supervisor posi- tions (2 filled, 2 vacant) into the new classes and approve transfer of the two permanent incumbents as follows: Pos. # Incumbent Program/Class Region 2161 (Vacant) Children's Svcs. Adult CTL • -3- Other than the 3 reclassifications without exam, we would plan to request examinations for the balance of the positions/classifi- cations and either reclassify the selected incumbent MHTS to supervisor or make an appointment off the eligible list to a vacant supervisor position and cancel a MHTS vacancy as an off- setting budgetary reduction such that there would be no net increase in authorized positions in the long run. COSTS Requests #1 and #2 entail no increase in cost. Based upon application of the standard rules governing salary on promotion the estimated increase in monthly costs for request #3 is $ 400 calculated as follows: Name Present Salary New Salary Change/Mo.
