HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07072015 - C.163RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment, effective June 30, 2015, with the Pittsburg Power Company, for additional case management and job placement services, increasing the contract amount by $100,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $300,000 and extend the term of the contract from June 30, 2015 to December 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: $300,000; 100% Federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Adult Funding BACKGROUND: This Board Order will authorize the Employment and Human Services Department, on behalf of the Workforce Development Board, to increase the contract payment limit to the Pittsburg Power Company by $100,000, from $200,000 to a new contract payment limit of $300,000 and extend the contract term from June 30, 2015, to a new contract term through December 31, 2015. The amendment will allow for extended WIA Adult Services while the Workforce Development Bureau prepares a competitive bid under the Request For Proposal process.
