HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07072015 - C.95RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-601-7 with Landrus Lynn Pfeffinger, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $270,000, to provide orthopedic physician services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Centers and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC) for the period from June 1, 2015 through May 31, 2018. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I. Costs depend upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third party payors will be billed for services. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On June 25, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-601-5 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-607-6) with Landrus Lynn Pfeffinger, M.D., to provide orthopedic services, including but not limited to, clinic coverage, consultation, and training at CCRMC, for the period from June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2015. Approval of Contract #26-601-7 will allow the Contractor to continue providing orthopedic services through May 31, 2018.
