HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07072015 - C.91RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-924-17 with Theresa Kailikole, DPM, a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $525,000, for the provision of podiatry services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from June 1, 2015 through May 31, 2018. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I. Cost to the County depends upon utilization. As appropriate, patients and/or third party payor will be billed for services. (Rate Increase) BACKGROUND: On May 7, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-924-15 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #26-924-16) with Theresa Kailikole, DPM, to provide podiatry services including, but not limited to, consultation, training, administration and medical and/or surgical procedures, for patients at CCRMC, for the period from June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2015. Approval of Contract #26-924-17 will allow the Contractor to continue providing podiatry services at CCRMC, through May 31, 2018.
