HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07072015 - C.90RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Blessing & Harvey Professional Services, Inc. (dba Ernie’s Plumbing & Sewer Service) in an amount not to exceed $650,000 to provide sublet emergency plumbing services, for the period April 1, 2015 through March 31 2018, Countywide. (100% General Fund) FISCAL IMPACT: This cost is to be funded through Facilities Services’ fiscal year 14/15, 15/16, 16/17 and 17/18 maintenance budgets. (100% General Fund) BACKGROUND: Facilities Services is responsible for plumbing maintenance and repair for all County buildings and facilities. Based on Facilities Services' staffing or the unavailability of County employees, plumbing work is sublet to outside vendors. Originally bid on Bidsync # 1501-114, Ernie’s Plumbing & Sewer Service and Rotor-Rooter are the awarded vendors for this work. We are requesting this contract be approved for a period covering the next three years.
