HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 07072015 - C.89RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract amendment with Robert Half International, Inc., to increase the payment limit by $751,400.00 to a new payment limit of $1,563,825.00 for temporary information technology help, for the period July 30, 2015 through June 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: $1,563,825.00: 100% Administrative Overhead (10% County; 45% State; 45% Federal) BACKGROUND: The Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) is in need of information technology (IT) professional staff on a temporary basis to meet staffing needs to cover employees on leave of absence, such as maternity leave, military leave, and medical leave, while the Department is actively recruiting permanent IT professionals. Temporary appointments will be for a specific pre-determined period of time. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The Department will be unable to meet IT needs.
