Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#74-472-1 with Alice Del Rosario, MD, a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $108,000, to provide
outpatient psychiatric care services for the period from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 50% Federal Financial Participation and 50% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate
increase)
BACKGROUND:
For a number of years the County has contracted with Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized medical
services. On October 8, 2014, the County Administrator approved

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
and Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #74-472 with Alice L. Del Rosario, MD for the provision of
outpatient psychiatric care services to children and adolescents in East County, for the period from October 1, 2014
through June 30, 2015.
Approval of Contract #74-472-1 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through June 30, 2016.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this contract is not approved, County’s clients will not have access to Contractor’s psychiatric care services.
