Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#26-347-25 with Cross Country Staffing, Inc. (dba Medical Staffing Network), a corporation, in an amount not to
exceed $8,000,000, to provide temporary medical and other staffing services at Contra Costa Regional Medical
Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise I Fund. (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On June 3, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-347-22 (as amended by Amendment Agreements
#26-347-23, and #26-347-24), with Cross Country Staffing, Inc., for the provision of temporary medical staffing
services including nursing, therapy, radiology, and pharmacy services at CCRMC for the period from July 1, 2014
through June 30, 2015. Approval of Contract #26-347-25 will allow Contractor to continue providing temporary
medical and other staffing services through June 30, 2016.
