Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-461-5 with Vialanguage, Inc., a corporation, effective June 1, 2015, to amend
Contract #23-461-4, to increase the payment limit by $100,000, from $100,000, to a new payment limit of $200,000,
and extend the term from November 30, 2015 through November 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Amendment/Extension is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise I Fund. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
In January 2014, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract
#23-461-4, with Vialanguage, Inc. for the provision of translation of written documents for the County’s Health
Services Department, for the period from December 1, 2013 through November 30, 2015.
Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-461-5 will allow the Contractor to continue providing
services through November 30, 2016.
