HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06092015 - C.159RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent or designee to execute, on behalf of the Chief Information Officer, a purchase order with Integrated Archive Systems in an amount not to exceed $177,500 for post-warranty equipment and software support for the period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: $177,500 (100% User Fees); the entire cost is budgeted under FY15/16, Org #1075 and recovered from user departments through DoIT's billing process. BACKGROUND: The NetApp SupportEdge Premium support renewal provides coverage on The Department of Information Technology's (DoIT) Network Appliance's. These data management appliances are an integral part of the County's Network Attached Storage system. Ongoing maintenance and support is critical in maintaining the integrity of the County's data management networks and helps to ensure continuity in support and protection. In accordance with Administrative Bulletin No 611.0, County Departments are required to obtain Board approval for single item purchases over $100,000. The County's Administrator's Office has reviewed this request and recommends approval.
