HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06092015 - C.149RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #24-837-23 with Daniel May, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $232,960, to provide outpatient psychiatric care services for the period from May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized medical services. On March 25, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24-837-21 (as amended by Contract Amendment Agreement #24-837-22) with Daniel May, M.D. for the period from May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015, for the provision of outpatient psychiatric care services for mentally ill adults in West County.
