HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06092015 - C.134RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Information Officer, or his designee, to execute a contract with CherryRoad Technologies, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $1,200,000 to conduct a Fit/Gap Analysis on the Peoplesoft software system for the period June 15, 2015 through September 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: The approximate cost of $1,200,000 is budgeted under Org #1695 FY 2014-2015 and FY 2015-2016, supported through interdepartmental charges to all departments. BACKGROUND: The PeopleSoft Human Capital Management system (HCM) is currently used to process the County’s payroll, in addition to maintaining and processing personnel records and administering employee benefits. The purpose of this contract is for the contractor to perform a fit/gap analysis and infrastructure assessment to increase the efficiency of HCM, and for the contractor to perform the initial tasks to upgrade HCM from version 8.8 to version 9.2. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Failure to approve the contract will result in an inability to update the County's current version of its payroll system and will increase the risk that the County will be unable to timely and accurately process employee payroll, personnel, and employee benefits transactions.
