Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment Agreement #22-817-20 with Contra Costa ARC, a non-profit corporation, effective January 1, 2015, to
amend Contract #22-817-19, to increase the payment limit by $82,430, from $65,213 to a new payment limit of
$147,643, with no change in the original term of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 42% Packard and Kaiser Grants, 53% Federal and State California Children’s Services
and 5% County funds. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
In September 2014, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract
#22-817-19 with Contra Costa ARC, for the period from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016, for provision of
outreach and education services for the Department’s California’s Children’s Services (CCS) Program.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #22-817-20 will allow the Contractor
