Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
#27-351-4 with Pittsburg Antioch Medical Group, APC (dba Springhill Medical Group), a professional corporation,
in an amount not to exceed $750,000, to provide Primary Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonary and
Endocrinology services to Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members for the period from July 1, 2015 through June
30, 2017.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II. (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
The Health Plan has an obligation to provide certain specialized professional health care services for its members
under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County.
On July 16, 2013 the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-351-3 with Pittsburg Antioch Medical Group,
APC (dba Springhill Medical Group) for the period from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015 to provide Primary
Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonary and Endocrinology services to CCHP members.
