HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06092015 - C.98RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Probation Department, a purchase order amendment with Adamson Police Products to increase the payment limit by $55,000 to a new payment limit of $150,000, for the purchase of law enforcement equipment, materials and related supplies. FISCAL IMPACT: $150,000. 100% County General Fund; Budgeted. BACKGROUND: Adamson Police Products has a long history of providing quality products as well as exceptional customer service to Contra Costa County. They have worked well with both the Sheriff-Coroner and the Probation Department. The addition of funds to this purchase order ensures that the Probation Department can purchase critical law enforcement equipment needed to perform mandated Law Enforcement duties. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Probation will not be able to purchase necessary law enforcement equipment from Adamson Police Products. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
