HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 06092015 - C.93RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with Community Violence Solutions in an amount not to exceed $154,443 to provide Child Welfare Redesign Differential Response Program services for the period July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: $154,443: 100% State Child Welfare Services Outcomes Improvement Program BACKGROUND: This Contractor was selected as a result of the competitive bid process.The Employment and Human Services Department, Children and Family Services (CFS) Bureau is implementing Child Welfare (CWS) Redesign to enhance current service delivery and improve outcomes for children and families. The redesign plan includes providing early intervention services, developing community partnerships, and increasing the number of resource families. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Employment and Human Services Department will be unable to offer valuable services.
