HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 04212015 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #27-839-2 with Mark N. Isaacs, M.D., Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $120,000, to provide phlebology services for Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members, for the period from May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On June 4, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #27-839-1 with Mark N. Isaacs, M.D., Inc., a corporation, for the provision of phlebology services to CCHP members, for the period from May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2015. Approval of Contract #27-839-2 will allow Contractor to continue providing phlebology services through April 30, 2017. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, certain specialized professional health care services for its members under the terms of their Individual and Group Health Plan membership contracts with the County will not be pro-vided.
