FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. BACKGROUND: The EMCC is a multidisciplinary committee appointed by the County Board of Supervisors, to provide advice and recommendations on EMS-related matters to the Board, Health Services Director and its EMS Agency. Membership consists of consumer representatives, and representatives of EMS-related organizations and groups. The former C-1 seat holder Jason Sampson from American Medical Response (AMR) did not return to the seat due to leaving the company. AMR finally nominated Michael Marsh in March 2015. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this Board Order is not approved, this position on the EMCC will not be filled. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
