HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03312015 - C.92RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #74-462-2 with Indra Singh, M.D., self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $199,680, to provide outpatient psychiatric services for the period from May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Services Act. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available. On May 6, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #74-462-1 with Indra Singh, M.D., for the period from May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015 for the provision of outpatient psychiatric services at the Central County Adult Mental Health Clinic in Central County. Approval of Contract #74-462-2 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide outpatient psychiatric service to patients in Central County through April 30, 2016.
