HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03312015 - C.91RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-665-3 with Jane Himmelvo, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $453,888, for the provision of family practice physician services at the County’s Adult and Juvenile Detention Facilities, for the period from April 1, 2015 through March 31, 2017. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On April 16, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-665-2 with Jane Himmelvo, M.D., to provide family practice physician services including consultation, clinic coverage and on-call services at the County’s Adult and Juvenile Detention Facility, for the period from April 1, 2013 through March 31, 2015. Approval of Contract #26-665-3 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through March 31, 2017.
