Amend the action of the Board of Supervisors on April 29, 2014, (C.55) approving a contract with Maxim Healthcare
Services, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $1,200,000 to provide temporary registry services at Contra
Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), to correct the term of the contract from
April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015, to April 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No Rate Increase)
BACKGROUND:
On April 29, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-391-24 with Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc.,
for the provision of temporary registry services at CCRMC for the period from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015. The
purpose of this Board Order is to correct the contract end date from March 31, 2015 to June 30, 2015, as it was
intended.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this correction is not approved, the Contract will not be recognized by the Board of Supervisors as being in force
during the last three (3) months of the original intended contract term.
