HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03102015 - C.54RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #26-792 with Edward Tang, M.D. a sole proprietor, in an amount not to exceed $350,000, to provide orthopedic services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. BACKGROUND: For many years the County has been contracting with Dental, Medical and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized services at our Hospital and Health Centers which would otherwise not be available. Under Contract #26-792, Edward Tang, M.D. will provide orthopedic services at CCRMC including but not limited to consultation, training, on-call coverage and medical/surgical procedures, for the period from March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016.
