APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Sheriff-Coroner, a purchase order
with Producers Dairy Products Inc., in an amount not to exceed $200,000 for the purchase of dairy products as
needed for the West County Detention Facility for the period January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
$200,000. 100% County General Fund; Budgeted in fiscal year 2014/15.
BACKGROUND:
The vendor is a General Services Department-selected vendor providing the dairy products and other related products
needed by West County Detention Facility to support the feeding program requirements of the inmate population.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Sheriff's Office would be unable to acquire dairy products from Producers Dairy Products for the West County
Detention Facility.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
No impact.
