Proj. No. A.I.P. 3-06-0050-03 Project No. 0125-6X5349 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: This Board on September 30, 1986 passed Resolution of Intention No. 86/580 and Notice fixing October 28, 1986 at 10:30 A.M. in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the time and place where it would meet to consummate the purchase of the real property described therein from William C. Shield, said property being required for airport purposes. Said Resolution was duly published in the Contra Costa Times in compliance with Govt. Code Section 6063. The Board hereby consummates said purchase and approves the Purchase Agreement dated September 29, 1986, between William C. Shield and the County for fee title to 1.95 acres of land required for clear zone protection, for Runway 14L/R, Buchanan Field Airport, Concord, California, and authorizes the Public Works Director to sign the Purchase Agreenent on behalf of the County. The County Auditor-Controller is hereby DIRECTED to draw a warrant in favor of Western Title Insurance Company, Escrow No. W-491379, for $765,756.00 for said property for payment to William C. Shield, upon his conveying to the County a deed therefor. Said deed, dated September 29, 1986 is hereby ACCEPTED and the Real Property Division is CFXERED to have it recorded, together with a certified copy of this resolution. The Board hereby FINDS that the proposed acquisition will not have a significant effect on the environment, and that a Negative Declaration has been prepared, processed and considered in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and DIRECTS the Community Development Director to file a Notice of Determination with the County Clerk. The acquisition has been determined to be in conformance with the County General Plan. I hereby certify that this is a true and correct cop,of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
