Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment
Agreement #26-744-1 with the Regents of the University of California, on behalf of its University of California, San Francisco
School of Medicine, effective November 15, 2014, amending Contract #26-744, to increase the payment limit by $70,000, from
$35,000 to $105,000 with no change in the original term of May 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment is funded 100% Enterprise I Funds. (No Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On August 6, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-744 with the Regents of the University of
California, on behalf of its University of California, San Francisco

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
School of Medicine, for the period from May 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016, for the provision of a residency training
program in family medicine at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-744-1 will allow the Contractor to provide additional residency
training programs in family medicine at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers,
through June 30, 2016.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, County residents will not receive the services of this residency training program at Contra
Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers.
