HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01062015 - C.89RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #24-991-15 with Alexander Gorodetsky, M.D., a self-employed individual, in an amount not to exceed $116,480, to provide outpatient psychiatric services at the West County Adult Mental Health Clinic for the period from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: For a number of years the County has contracted with Medical, Dental and Mental Health Specialists to provide specialized professional services, which are not otherwise available. On December 10, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #24-991-14 with Alexander Gorodetsky, M.D., for the provision of outpatient psychiatric services, for the period from January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this contract is not approved, County’s clients will not have access to Contractor’s outpatient psychiatric services, which may result in a reduction in overall services to the community.
