HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12162014 - D.6RECOMMENDATION(S): CONTINUE the PUBLIC HEARING to February 3, 2015 to consider the appeals filed by Communities For A Better Environment and Shute, Mihaly, and Weinberger, LLP (on behalf of the Rodeo Citizens Association) of the County Planning Commission decision to approve the proposed Propane and Butane Recovery Project for Phillips 66 Rodeo Refinery in Rodeo; and to consider related actions under the California Environmental Quality Act, County File #LP12-2073. FISCAL IMPACT: The applicant has paid the initial application deposit and is obligated to pay supplemental costs to cover any and all expenses associated with the application processing. BACKGROUND: The Board has continued this item to April 1, 2014, June 3, 2014, September 23, 2014 and December 16, 2014 with direction to work expeditiously with the Air District and recirculate portions of the environmental document. County staff recommends a continuance from December 16, 2014 to February 3, 2015. The Recirculated Draft Environmental Impact Report (RDEIR) for the Propane and Additional Butane Recovery Project was released on October 21, 2014 and the public review period ended on December 5, 2014. Between December 16, 2014 and February 3, 2015 County staff and its consultant will prepare and make public the Final RDEIR pursuant to the CEQA guidelines.
