Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-553-1 with Aspira Technologies, Inc., a corporation, effective November 1,
2014, to amend Contract #23-553, to increase the payment limit by $408,500, from $229,200, to a new payment
limit of $637,700, and extend the term from November 30, 2014 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On January 14, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-553, with Aspira Technologies, Inc.,
for the provision of consultation and technical assistance to the Department’s Information Systems Unit to
information technology

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-553-1 will allow the Contractor to continue providing services through June
30, 2016.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, County will not have management oversight of the Information Technology
Analytics unit.
