HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12162014 - C.33RECOMMENDATION(S): ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21578 to add one (1) permanent full-time Health Services Administrator - Level C (VANH) (Represented) at salary level ZB2-1732 ($6,131.07 - $7,470.12) in the Health Services Department. FISCAL IMPACT: Upon approval, this action will result in an annual increased cost of $145,926.92, including pension cost of $31,822.71. Funding is 100% reimbursable from Affordable Care Act Revenue. BACKGROUND: To accommodate rapid growth in the preparation and monitoring of HSD contracts, Finance Administration restructured the Contracts and Grants Unit managing and administering all activity related to the provider network expansion. This position would manage and overseeing all contract-related activity associated with the provider network expansion including being able to effectively communicate with health care providers, the County Administrator’s Office, and County Counsel has facilitated the execution of numerous network provider contracts in a manner that has allowed HSD to maintain its ability to address the needs of its membership in a timely manner. The person occupying this position would report directly to Health Services Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
