HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12162014 - C.28RECOMMENDATION(S): ACCEPT the resignation of the Robin Heinemann from the Law Enforcement Representative seat on the Contra Costa Inter-jurisdictional Council on Homelessness Executive Committee, DECLARE a vacancy in the Law Enforcement Seat on the Contra Costa Inter-jurisdictional Council on Homelessness, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the County Administrator. FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: The Contra Costa Inter-jurisdictional Council on Homelessness (CCICH) was established on March 11, 2008, combining the efforts of the Contra Costa County Homeless Continuum of Care Board and the Homeless Inter-Jurisdictional Inter-Departmental Work Group. CCICH is charged with providing a forum for communication and coordination about the overall implementation of the Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness and providing advice and input on the operations of homeless services. Lt. Heinemann is retiring from the Concord Police Department, effective December 9, 2014 and will no longer be eligible to fill the Law Enforcement seat. The Law Enforcement seat has a term expiring March 31, 2016. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The Law Enforcement seat will remain unfilled. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: None.
