Accept and receive the 2014 Annual Report and 2015 Objectives as submitted by the Diablo Municipal Advisory
Council.

BACKGROUND:
One June 18, 2002, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2002/377, which requires that each regular on
ongoing board, commission, or committee shall annually report to the Board of Supervisors on its activities,
accomplishments, membership attendance, required training/certification (if any), and proposed work plan or
objectives for by the following year, on the second Tuesday of December.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Diablo MAC will not be keeping with Resolution 2002/377.

Activities and Accomplishments
The goal of the Diablo Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) in 2014 was to
continue to work effectively and efficiently with the residents of Diablo
and with Contra Costa County.
During the 2014 calendar year, the Diablo MAC activities and efforts
included:
Received, reviewed and provided comments on the various land
use-planning applications within the community of Diablo.
Continued discussion regarding bicycle and pedestrian safety
throughout the community.
Continued discussion of signage noting ‘private roads’ throughout
the community.
Continued improvement to Diablo community roads, bridges, and
culverts as necessary.
Participated in the 100th Anniversary Centennial Celebration of
Diablo Country Club. Private event for residents and their guests
only.
Halloween Neighborhood Party for 2014 celebration for
residents. Streets are closed for the holiday trick-or-treaters.
Coordination with Sheriff’s office in place for security.

Diablo Municipal Advisory Council
Objectives for 2015
The Diablo Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) priorities
for 2015 will be to continue to be to provide the
community of Diablo the opportunity to communicate
with the various County Departments.
Diablo MAC Members will continue to work on:
1.) Land Use Planning matters before the Diablo
community
2.) Road maintenance issues within Diablo
3.) Traffic concerns and bicycle safety
4.) Hydrology, bridges and culverts
5.) Safety and security
The Diablo MAC meets on the second Tuesday of each
month at 7:30 P.M. at Diablo Country Club located at
1700 Club House Road, Diablo.
