Keckler Medical Sales, Inc., for the purchase of six Skytron Surgical Tables for $295,645, to replace obsolete surgical tables at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC), to be effective the date the Purchase Order is executed through June 30, 2015. FISCAL IMPACT: 100% Funding is included the Enterprise Fund I budget. BACKGROUND: CCRMC has utilized the current, obsolete, surgical tables since June 1997. The tables have been obsolete since January 2012, making maintenance and repair a difficult task. The new tables will enable the staff to utilize a more versatile surgical table, increasing the options the staff have to care for the patient. CCRMC will also be able to care for more of the population with the increased weight capabilities, allowing them to operate on bariatric patients that we are currently referring out to other facilities. This enables CCRMC to provide the medical staff and patients an improved quality of care.
