Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-326-14 with Aspira Technologies, Inc., a corporation, to amend Contract
#23-326-12 to increase the contract payment limit by $170,000 from $695,000 to a new payment limit of $865,000
and extend the term from November 30, 2014 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On November 5, 2013, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-326-12 with Aspira Technologies, Inc., for
the provision of consultation and technical assistance to the Department’s Information Systems Unit, for the period
from December 1, 2013 through November 30, 2014.
Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-326-14 will allow the Contractor to provide additional
consultation and technical assistance through June 30, 2016.

If this extension is not approved, County will not have access to Contractor’s expertise with regard to complex clinic
