Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract
Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-491-11 with The CJS Solutions Group, LLC, a limited liability company,
effective August 1, 2014, to amend Contract #23-491-10, to increase the payment limit by $200,000, from $200,000
to a new payment limit of $400,000, and extend the term from December 31, 2014 through June 30, 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This amendment/extension is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
On February 4, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-491-10 with The CJS Solutions Group, LLC
for the provision of consultation and technical assistance to the Department on project analysis and implementation
of the Epic Electronic Health Record System including system optimization, configuration, training, operational
improvement and information security, for the period from January 1, 2014 through December

Approval of Contract Amendment/Extension Agreement #23-491-11 will allow the Contractor to provide additional
consultation and technical assistance on project analysis and implementation of the Epic Electronic Health Record
System services through June 30, 2016.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
If this amendment is not approved, the Health Services Department will not have access to Contractors expertise with
regard to Epic.
