HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 12022014 - C.88RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-604-10 with Michael Gynn, M.D., a self-employed individual, effective December 1, 2014, to amend Contract #26-604-9, to increase the payment limit by $25,000, from $560,000 to a new payment limit of $585,000, with no change in the original term of January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On January 7, 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-604-9 with Michael Gynn, M.D., for the provision of professional general surgery services for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014. Due to an increase in utilization higher than expected, Contractor has agreed to provide additional surgery services. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-604-10 will allow the Contractor to provide additional services at CCRMC through December 31, 2014.
