ADOPT Position Adjustment Resolution No. 21559 to increase the hours of one (1) Board of Supervisors Assistant –
Specialist (J994) (unrepresented) position (#2481), at salary plan and grade B85 1652 ($5,549.20 – $5,826.66) from
32/40 to 40/40 and increase the hours of one (1) Board of Supervisors Assistant – Specialist position (J994)
(#14748), from 24/40 to 40/40 in the District II Board of Supervisor’s Office.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
BACKGROUND:
The District II Board of Supervisor’s Office currently has two part-time position vacancies. An operational need for
more staff has been identified and a current part-time employee will be able to fulfill the additional staff hours
needed. Therefore, the District II Office is requesting to increase the hours of position number 2481. Additionally,
one employee is leaving and another has been hired and for the period of one week, both will be on staff. In order to
accommodate the transition, one vacant position will be increased from part-time to full-time temporarily.
