HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11042014 - C.46RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute, on behalf of the Public Works Director, a purchase order with Caltronics Business Systems for the lease of two Caltronics Bizhub Pro 1052 copiers and one Caltronics Konica C1060 digital copier in the amount of $250,000, for the period of November 20, 2014 through November 19, 2017, Countywide. FISCAL IMPACT: Print and Mail Services is a zero net County cost operation which charges back to County Departments for printing. (100% Department User Fees) BACKGROUND: Print and Mail Services' Martinez Copy Center produces 254,512 color copies per year and 7,692,938 Black/White copies per year for various County departments. This service center enables County employees located at 651 Pine Street and downtown Martinez to obtain copy services in an expedient timeframe. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: If this request is not approved, the employees at 651 Pine Street and other County departments located in downtown Martinez will be required to use the Print and Mail Services Copy Center located in Concord.
