ACCEPT resignation of Ben Hornstein, DECLARE a vacancy in Local Committee, Concord Seat on the Advisory
Council on Aging, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the Employment
and Human Services Director.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None
BACKGROUND:
Mr. Hornstein was appointed to the Advisory Council on Aging for the term January 1, 2014 through
September 30, 2015. The Advisory Council on Aging provides a means for county-wide planning,
cooperation and coordination for individuals and groups interested in improving and developing services
and opportunities for the older residents of this county. The Council provides leadership and advocacy on
behalf of older persons and serves as a channel of communication and information on aging.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
The Advisory Council on Aging may not be able to conduct routine business.
