Subject:Orwood Road Bridge Replacement Project, Brentwood area.
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department is planning to replace the Orwood Road Bridge located in the Brentwood area. The
TCE is necessary for the purpose of a construction yard and for machinery and vehicle maneuvering during the
construction phase of the Orwood Road Bridge Replacement project. As a condition of the TCE, EBRPD has
requested that the County indemnify them during the use of their property.
On October 7, 2014, the EBRPD Board of Directors approved Resolution 2014-10-247, granting the TCE to the
County.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Without approval from the Board of Supervisors, the project would not be able to move forward.
CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT:
Not applicable.
