Dear SupervL&Ulclwers ,
I 'm writing to request participation by your county in an
informal task force of Bay Area political , environmental and
business leaders to explore the feasibility of a pedestrian/
bicycle path that would circle the Bay.
It seems to me such a guarantee of public access to this
environmental treasure is an exciting and obtainable goal.
An exploratory meeting will be held at the State Building,
350 McAllister St. (Auditorium) , San Francisco, on Monday,
September 8th at 10 a.m.
I hope that an elected member and/or appropriate staff member
from your county might join us .
Please let me know of any local interest in the matter. If
there are further questions or comments , please call my - office at
(415) 582-8800 .
Sincerely ,
