Approve and authorize the Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Health Services Department, to execute a Purchase
Order (# F46950) amendment with Hardy Diagnostics Inc. to add $60,000 for a new total of $159,900 for media and
other supplies for the Clinical Laboratory at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) with no change in the
original term from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015.
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% funding is included in the Enterprise Fund I Budget.
BACKGROUND:
CCRMC’s Clinical Laboratory uses Hardy Diagnostics Inc. for its quality and easily obtained media and products
used for identification of and sensitivity to antibiotics in patients. This enables staff to treat patients as soon as
possible.
