HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10282014 - C.03RECOMMENDATION(S): APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute the Temporary Topographic Survey Permit with Byron Main Street Properties, effective September 22, 2014 through December 31, 2014, for the Byron Highway/Camino Diablo Intersection Improvements Project. (Project No. 0662-6R4094) FISCAL IMPACT: 23% Highway Safety Improvement Program Funds, 13% East County Area of Benefit Funds and 64% Local Road Funds. BACKGROUND: The Public Works Department is in the initial phase of the Byron Highway/Camino Diablo Intersection Improvements Project. It is necessary to conduct topographical surveys to assist in the design of the project. As a condition of the permit, the property owner has requested Contra Costa County indemnify them during the temporary use of their property. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: The project would not be able to move forward. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
