Accept oral report from the Health Services Director with regarding the status of Ebola virus contingency planning in
Contra Costa County.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Contra Costa is prepared to respond to a communicable disease outbreak, including Ebola. Contra Costa Health
Services (CCHS) is working with local hospitals and the California Department of Public Health to ensure that
clinicians and hospitals countywide are educated and prepared.
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
Not applicable.
