FISCAL IMPACT: None. BACKGROUND: Contra Costa is prepared to respond to a communicable disease outbreak, including Ebola. Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) is working with local hospitals and the California Department of Public Health to ensure that clinicians and hospitals countywide are educated and prepared. CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Not applicable. CHILDREN'S IMPACT STATEMENT: Not applicable.
